Rockport
Rockport, on Cape Ann north of Boston, is an old fishing town that has now become a popular tourist location. Although crowds can be a hassle during the peak of tourist season, much of the year it is easy to get around. Among the offerings are fishing boats, old coatal homes, interesting alley ways, fishing equipment, ocean views, beaches, and people. Parking can be had on the streets all over the town but bring change as most spots require the feeding of meters. If you arrive early in the day, during off season, or on a less than perfect day, take a cruise through the town to look for spots before giving up and parking in one of the satellite lots.
I recommend driving the coastal roads further north to Annisquam and also back down south to Gloucester before you leave for good as there are plenty of shots to be had there as well.
