Henry Horenstein - by Donna D.http://www.horenstein.com Henry came into my life a million years ago when I started college at RIT. His book Black and White Photography was our text book my freshman year. I learned a lot from the book and have my copy on my shelves today. Pretty tatered - but full of information I used every day. Later, while working at AutumnColor - I got the op to meet Henry and work with him. We helped make prints for his shows and crated the framed pieces to be shipped to LA for his debut of a series of images from Creatures. An extraordinary series of images of animals like you have never seen before. Henry is a Prof at RISD and I have meet students from his classes. All speak highly of him. It seems to me just about everyone knows Henry! If you ever get the chnace to see his work in person- be sure you do- esp if it's at a gallery opening. The man knows how to throw a party! |

We took a drive out to Canton to see the show of underwater images by Brian Skerry. Casey helped Brian create a video of him speaking about his work for the show. Check out Brian's web site at http://www.brianskerry.com If you want to add more, right-click in this table row. You should see a dialog pop up that lets you add a row. (This may only work with Internet Explorer, though...or maybe just on a PC and not a Mac. For your convenience, we've added an empty row above. |
