Welcome! This is a website that everyone can build together. It's easy!
Music
Lots of slideshows contain music that is copyrighted. That's usually a no no. Most folks know this but can't resist doing it. What's worse, when played in a public forum (like, hey, I'm doing a slideshow for my club...isn't the music I selected really grand?) it's really a big no no. Fortunately, there are lots of sources of free music out there. This page should help you find some.
Also, once you've found music, you may need a way to edit it, so a couple references here and there to some neat tools would be nice, too. If you have any ideas about that, jump right in with them.
Andreas Viklund - this guy's site was the inspiration to start this section of our Wiki. He has a collection of MP3's available and is giving them away for free (read his copyright section for what you can and can't do).
Audacity - a free, open source, cross-plaftormsound editing package that supports a variety of plug-ins. (See our Software subsection for more information.)
