The Museum Was Terrific

...and so was Ron!

About 10 of us showed up for the Click'n'Shoot which was designed to coincide with Ron Rosenstock's reception and lecture at the Hallmark Museum Of Contemporary Photography as well as the Hallmark Institute, itself. Paul Turnbull, the director of the Museum, was on hand to greet guests an d bumped into Casey Danek on the street with, "Are you with the Worcester group?" Paul was gracious enough to pose for our website.

The museum reception had all the fixin's of a gala event with spritzes, appetizers, and music. Ron was there to greet guests and answer questions. Later that evening, he have a talk about his background and some of his inspirations.

Images And Thoughts

Henry and Arlene Winkleman walk along the Canal Path photographing the old mills that were once powered by water pressure. Next, we see Carrie and her friend Jeff walking across the small bridge that goes over the Canal to a grassy area where you have a view of the Falls, themselves.

Next, we see Lou and Susan Swinand taking in the Falls from atop the bridge. We weren't sure if there would be a view looking down, but the bridge builders were careful enough to ensure generations would have one.

Sometimes, when you're tired and just want to sit - which is what it was like towards the end of the long, sunny afternoon - a bit of perseverance pays off. I forced myself to wandered further over into Unity Park and found a wonderful, small stand of trees. By itself, they were interesting...but then a family on bicycles came by. Click!
